Margie

Picture
Margie remains at her home in Sabina with the help of her daughter, Kim, other family members, and the Clinton County Elderly Services Program. Care Manager Brenda, standing, right, in photo, visits several times a year to make sure Margie has the right services in the right amounts, as her needs change. Because most people who enter nursing homes deplete their savings and go onto Medicaid, it's a saving to taxpayers to help seniors like Margie remain in their homes.   Click here to read Margie's story from the 2010 Clinton County Elderly Services Program Annual Report (page 4).

Robert

Picture
Robert was a client of the Clinton County Elderly Services Program from 2008 until his death in 2011. Services from the program extended what his son Tom could do as caregiver and helped Robert live out his days at home. Robert was a volunteer firefighter at the Wilmington Fire Department for 37 years, a tradition continued by his son and other members of the family. Click here to read their story in the 2010 Clinton County Elderly Services Program Annual Report (page 4).
